Sky Italia a picco: persi più di 51.000 abbonati da inizio 2013

fallimento-skySky Italia sta letteralmente andando a picco. E’ questo quello che emerge dai dati forniti da News Corp, il colosso mediatico di Rupert Murdoch che controlla la pay-tv italiana. Infatti Sky Italia sta avendo un crollo verticale dall’inizio del 2012 con il numero degli abbonati in costante calo. E ora, nel primo trimestre del 2013, è riuscia a fare anche peggio.

Infatti se negli ultimi tre mesi del 2012 Sky Italia contava una perdita di circa 28.000 abbonati, nei primi tre mesi del 2013 la perdita da gennaio a marzo è stata di 51.000 clienti con una perdita operativa totale di circa 18 milioni di euro, mentre Mediaset Premium nel primo trimestre dell’anno ha fatto registrare un utile di 9,3 milioni di euro. I vertici di Sky Italia ovviamente non hanno fornito spiegazioni ma si sono limitati a fornire i dati sopra elencati.

I primi scricchiolii si sono verificati nei tre mesi iniziali del 2012 con meno 86.000 abbonati. Con un calo del genere gli abbonati sono scesi a 4,78 milioni, contro la crescita di Mediaset Premium che ora conta 3,8 milioni di abbonati.
